Aurore Claude-Taupin

Aurore Claude-Taupin, researcher in Cellular and Membrane Dynamics in Stress Response team was recently honored with the prestigious L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Award. Her research in autophagy and the promising potential of this process in the development of innovative cancer treatments, has not only garnered international acclaim but has also significantly contributed to our understanding of the importance of autophagy in maintaining cell homeostasis. Aurore's dedication and achievements embody the spirit of discovery that we cherish at INEM.

Elizabeth Macintyre

Elizabeth Macintyre's contributions to understanding the mechanisms behind hematological cancers, were recognized when she received the Fondation Guillaumat-Piel 2023 Award from La Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale. Her research has not only improved the prognosis for these diseases but is also paving the way for personalized patient care. Professor Macintyre's dedication and leadership extend beyond her research, as she actively contributes to the European Hematology Association and has recently taken the helm as the Chair of the Board of the Biomedical Alliance in Europe.

Lida Katsimpardi

Lida Katsimpardi is a prominent figure in ageing research. Her innovative work has positioned her at the forefront of this critical field, where she explores the possibilities of slowing down or even reversing ageing and age-related and neurodegenerative disease. Very recently, Lida received the prestigious Fondation Pierre Deniker - Prix desmarest for her contributions to the field of cognitive decline, depression and Alzheimer's disease, and her dedication to deciphering underlying mechanisms and finding new therapies, have earned her this prestigious recognition. Lida's passion and expertise make her an invaluable asset to both our institute and the global scientific community.
